Scholarship Process & Rules

It is strongly advised that please read and understand the directives given below before you apply for admission under ASET-2017 scheme. It is mandatory to appear for the ASET 2017 to avail the opportunity of scholarship during academic year 2017-18

Process for ASET-2017

ASET 2017 will be held in two rounds, 1st Round @ School level and 2nd Round @ State level. ASET is approaching the schools to conduct the first round at their own place. After declaration of the 1st round result, the shortlist candidate with required score can go for 2nd round, to be held at District headquarter.


  • In first round, the offline exam In first round, the offline exam will be conducted at school level and on the basis of result at school level candidates will be allotted scholarship in given categories.

    Category-I: 40 % of Tuition Fee if your score lies between : 95< Percentile Score  <=100
    Category-II : 30 % of Tuition Fee if your score lies between : 85< Percentile Score  <=95
    Category-III: 20 % of Tuition Fee if your score lies between : 80<=Percentile Score  <=85

    Further, to contribute in the dream of our Prime Minister Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, additional 10% Scholarship will be provided to Girl Candidates in all categories.

  • ASET Test Paper for round one has three parts with 20 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and 10 Questions from English. The maximum duration of exam is 45 min. The mode of the Test Paper will be English/Hindi. There will be no negative marking.

  • If students miss the exam at their school, they can also apply on for special 1st round. The exam will conduct at district headquarter and its schedule will be announced later on website. Kindly go through the website regularly for further information.

Round 2:

  • All qualified Students under Category-I will be eligible for Second round of ASET which offers additional 20% scholarship and prizes at state level.

  • Students have to register themselves on ASET website or respective school authority.

  • ASET test paper for second round has three parts with 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The maximum duration of exam is 120 min and maximum marks are 300. There will be one negative mark for each wrong answer.

  • ASET second round will be held at State Level and will conduct at various district level centers. No TA/DA will be given to the students/parents.

  • Based on ASET second round score, scholarship of additional 20 % of Tuition Fee will be given to top 50 students.

Rules for ASET-2017

  • As numbers of seats are limited so scholarship will be given on first come first serve basis.

  • Name of the candidates availing the scholarship will be displayed on

  • In case seats in respective category are not available then students may be offered lower category of scholarship.

  • All the Test or Registration charges are borne by ASET-2017. No TA/DA will be given to the students/parents attending to the test of ASET- II round.

  • Any other information will be share through or registered mail-id of student.

  • We will issue a scholarship eligibility certificate and letter to each qualified student and this certificate must be submitted to the college for availing the scholarship along with all requisite documents.

  • One student can avail only one type of scholarship (ASET/TFWS/Social Welfare department/ etc.) for admission in B.Tech courses undergone in JEC Group of Colleges. If anybody prevails another scholarship then ASET scholarship will be withdrawn and scholarship amount will be recovered.

  • Decision of the society will be final and binding to all.

The following documents are required at the time of admission on ground of scholarship:

  1. ASET 2017 Certificate.

  2. Age Proof Certificate (10th Mark sheet / Certificate).

  3. Higher Secondary/12th Std. Pass Certificate and Marks Sheet/Grade Card.

  4. SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate (if applicable) from the competent authority.

  5. Aadhar Card

  6. Transfer Certificate/Character certificate in original from the Head of the Institution last attended.

  7. Domicile certificate

  8. Migration Certificate (Except RBSE

  9. Photographs (4 Nos).
